  Teacher question: What do good readers do? Student’s response: Good readers stop at a full stop and take a breath. They also look at the pictures to give them clues when they are stuck on a word.

I am learning to solve addition problems in my head e.g 49+3= My next step is to practice this strategy using word problems.

I am learning to say my mihi. I can do this when I can use simple sentences to tell others about myself and speak clearly. My next step is say my mihi a bit slower.

We are learning to: Make statements about a data display. We can do this when we can: Correctly say one or more things about a display of data on a pictogram. E.g " I notice the most popular eye colour in Room 22 is blue". Student Comment: I notice more peoples favourite fruit is apples rather than blueberries.
